I resisted for a very, very, very long time, but finally succumbed and made one. I scrapped the one I had started for my mom, and thankfully a friend hipped me to the Clapotis Excel Spreadshet. It made it easy peasy! And this was the result: the clapotis for a very special someone to me, who is leaving the state to marry her soulmate 🙂

Nikko’s Appeal: The Red Scarf Project
Well, the Red Scarf Project has taken on a life of its own here at Casa Stro! Nikko has embraced it as “his cause” for his Homeschool Service Project. He has written an appeal to you to help him reach his goal of 100 scarves by January 2008. Will you help?

Okay, so I didn’t win the camera on eBay…but my current camera, low-end resolution though it is, finally did come through!
I think the lighting here does do the scarf justice & the colors are fairly accurate. I used Trendsetter Sunshine in color #133 (burnt orange) and Trensetter Cubetti in color #0984 (olive, eggplant & burnt orange).
Here is the Sunshine/Cubetti Diagonal Garter Stitch Scarf (along with the LYS I work at as a backdrop!)
